Seeking Adult Drunk Clown for 30th Birthday party
http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/chi/814181712.html

Date: 2008-08-26, 3:22PM CDT

We need an Adult Drunk Clown who is good at getting drunk and stupid. No need to do any clown tricks, just hang out and drink a shit load. We will be hopping around to different bars and want a clown to tag a long and drink heavely. He doesn’t even need to socialize with anyone, just drink.

the birthday is on Friday, Sept. 5th in Bucktown. Oh, did I mention that the clown needs to get shitfaced. Don’t worry, we will purchase all the drinks.

Tarot and the Magician. Not a magician in the sense that I am, but a reflection of divine power.

admr23's avatarmyowndisorderlynotions23

Here’s the third instalment in my Tarot series, the Magician. Directly following the Fool in the deck the Magician represents divine talent, practicality and gained knowledge. Surrounded by flowers and natural growth the youthful illusionist holds a wand in his right hand pointed towards the heavens while my design holds a cup in his left (symbolising the water element; the other three are shown in A. E. Waite’s famous interpretation).

Magic For Team Building

15 Apr

I’m working on an idea to present to The Team Building Company. They have cooking, model making and art; I think there should be a team building activity based around magic. Learn how to do a selection of entry level tricks and put on a magic show.

Team building through activities is all about creating a shared experience away from work that brings people together and promotes friendship. I think magic is a great medium for this sort of thing. I also think it’s an appealling idea; people would want to give it a go. Basic tricks can be taught in a few hours and then it’s a question of proactice makes perfect.

Entertainer?

Wythe's avatar100 Million Years

As in this book. Houdini was (perhaps) a/n:

  • escape artist
  • magician
  • strongman
  • con-man
  • wrestler
  • pugilist
  • bad-ass
  • trickster
  • genius
  • liar
  • truth-seeker
  • spiritualist
  • psychic
  • debunker
  • skeptic

Etc. Add up these contradictions to get a very cool character, villain, or… uh… this guy:
